Šest měsíců po transplantaci srdce se Elizabeth Lancaster plně fyzicky zotavila. ale psychicky pořád trpí traumatem z " blízké smrti" a cítí se vzdálená od svého manžela Duncana a 17-letých dvojčat Millie a Bena, s nímiž žije na farmě, která je už po celé generace rodinným vlastnictvím.
